The village of Awbridge nestles in the heart of the beautiful Hampshire Test Valley, a jewel in the heart of central southern England, close to Romsey and midway between the cities of Southampton and Salisbury.
Thanks to years of dedicated hard work by a committee of local residents the Hall was built in 1998 with the help of generous National Lottery funding. It stands in six acres of grounds and playing fields with distant views over rolling open countryside and is the pride of our community with facilities to satisfy a multiplicity of users.
The grounds in which the Hall stands were bequeathed to the community many years ago and are held in an independent trust managed by a small committee of local residents and users. With its modern accommodation, generous car parking facilities and charming setting, use of the Hall is always in demand and potential users are advised to check for availability well in advance to avoid disappointment.
A valuable additional asset held by the trust is the Awbridge Pavilion which stands alongside the Hall, once occupied by the village football team it is has now been refurbished and is used as a business premises.
Regular users include among others a bridge club, fitness training class, yoga, dance classes, painting classes and the gardening club. Something for everyone! Check the links on this site for further information, to arrange a viewing or to make a booking.
